An Exceptional Evening

Yesterday was a big day in the Kruger household. Logan took his first steps! We of course made him walk back and forth between Mom and Dad over and over again but I think he enjoyed the practice.

After an exciting evening of walking, he was far from relaxed in the tub. There was non-stop laughter when daddy sent his froggy toy flying.

Then he had a horrible night's sleep because both his top front teeth came through this week. There's nothing like doing everything at once!

Here are some other pics of him from last week...
Hopefully he enjoys swimming at the pool next week as much as he enjoys bath time!

Lots of Christmas Cheer!

We celebrated many days of Christmas this year with lots of family and enjoyed all of it (even the fever and teething on Christmas weekend). Thanks to everyone for all the great memories of his first Christmas!

Way before Christmas at home
This is the present that I couldn't wait until Christmas to give him

He really enjoyed trying to pull things off the tree

Being super cute showing off his teeth

Getting excited to tear into the presents

He wasn't so sure he wanted to share his toys with Saron
but overall he enjoyed playing with all the gals

By this time he was a little tired - his wild hair says it all

He still showed some smiles riding his rocking moose

The Last Few Months...

We've been a little busy over the last three months trying to keep up with Logan. He's crawling all over the place, standing up by the furniture and getting into anything and everything. He loves to dance, bounce, clap and eat. Right now his favorite thing is apple cinnamon cheerios (he has shunned the plain cheerios) and any kind of deli meat. He is walking behind his push-along toys but doesn't have the guts yet to stand on his own. Here are some shots from the past 3 months.

Obviously he still sleeps a lot!!

Rub-A-Dub in my Ducky Tub

Now that he is sitting up on his own, Logan loves bath time in his rubber ducky tub. His favorite toys are the light-up disco frogs from our friend Ben.

Vikings Victory!

On Sunday we attended the Vikings game versus the Ravens. It was an amazing game that had us biting our nails until the very end. Logan isn't big enough to go to the games yet so he spent the day with Grandma & Grandpa Hardies instead. Although he wasn't with us, he's still an avid fan. Here are some shots of him watching the game with us the week before.

Even he gets excited by a fumble! Go Vikings!!

My First Haircut

Two weeks ago Logan got his first haircut from Matt's Aunt Lori in Iowa. The process wasn't too painful even though he was a little bit squirmy. The cape didn't last long and he eventually ended up on my lap but for being 7 months old he did a pretty good job. Now he looks even more adorable!

Here is the before picture...

...and the after picture.

He looks like such a big boy now. Thanks Lori!

Photo Shoot on the Farm

Last Saturday, we went to our friend Katy's house and took pictures of Logan and her little boy Brennan. Here are some shots of our little monkey hanging out on the farm.
Yes, our little guy's first instinct was to try to devour the new substance that he was placed on...
...but his displeasure with the pokey yellow straw was obvious within seconds.

These are some of my favorite pictures of Brennan who will definitely follow in his father's footsteps and become a little farm boy. He already loves his little John Deere pedal tractor.
