The Nursery is ready for the baby!

Our second bedroom has come a long way since we first moved it. It started out as a hideous orange room with no closet doors. Since buying the house we have added closet doors and trim, installed crown molding (which was not an easy task), replaced the carpet, painted the walls twice, built a screen door, and decorated for baby Logan. Here's the starting picture when we bought the house:

Now we have decorated with a nautical theme complete with lighthouse, lobster buoys, netting, sailboat, flags, starfish, oar, and a flotation cushion and curtains made my Grandma Marcene. Here is a picture of the completed project.

Showered with gifts

My work held a shower for me this week that was a lot of fun. We got some great gifts that we are very thankful for. Here are some shots of our presents. He got some adorable outfits that I can't wait to dress him up in!Our dearest friend Katy made us a mommy gift basket and a daddy tool belt. They are absolutely amazing and I hate to take them apart! Here is the mommy gift basket filled with all the essentials for diapering, bathing, and pampering our little one.
Matt wanted to model his tool belt but he felt the gift was missing a few essential items so he added in the mask, glasses, gloves, and tongs. Now he's fit for doody!
Thank you everyone for all the great gifts!

1 month to go...

Here is the 36 week pregnancy belly photo. All my appointments have been going great and we are getting our bags packed. We are very anxious to meet him!
